NPQ for Leading Primary Maths

NPQLPM

Are you interested in developing your Maths career?  The new NPQ Leading Primary Maths is for you if:

  • You lead Maths across your school, or would like to in the near future;
  • You are familiar with mastery approaches to teaching Primary Maths;
  • You have a passion for Maths that you want to develop and share.

This new qualification, run in conjunction with UCL and supported by Origin Maths Hub, is facilitated locally by experienced practitioners.

The NPQLPM:

  • takes around 12 months to complete;
  • involves an average of one to two hours of study each week;
  • includes an induction conference and four face to face sessions with other local Maths leads in a local school setting, led by local Maths experts;
  • culminates in a full day face to face Consolidation Conference;
  • finishes with an online written assessment.

Our programmes put you and your school at the heart of the programme through a professional learning group approach that helps you to share your thinking and understanding within a well-planned framework.
