NPQ for Leading Teacher Development

Run in conjunction with UCL, this NPQ is facilitated locally by experienced teachers and leaders.
The NPQLTD programme will help you gain confidence and develop skills in implementing evidence-based professional development programmes focused on improving classroom teaching, so promoting a strong professional development culture across school.
The programme includes:
- designing and delivering effective professional development
- how to make informed evidence-based professional development decisions
- techniques for tailoring and adapting support based on individual development needs
Our NPQ programmes have you and your school at their heart through a professional learning group approach that helps you to share your thinking and understanding within a well-planned framework.
You will experience a blended approach of face to face, self-directed study materials and in school support to enable you to progress professionally and develop networks to enhance your career.
Who is this suitable for?
Teachers and leaders who have, or aspire to have, responsibility for leading the development of other teachers or for mentoring trainees or Early Career Teachers.

NPQLTD: National Professional Qualification for Leading Teacher Development
Programme Length
12 months followed by an 8-day open book summative case study task.
