NPQH for Headship

NPQH

Our programmes have you and your school at their heart through a professional learning group approach that helps you to share your thinking and understanding within a well-planned framework. You will experience a blended approach of face to face, self-directed study materials and in school support to enable you to progress professionally and develop networks to enhance your career.

Run in conjunction with UCL and facilitated by two highly experienced local leaders, you will be encouraged to apply and translate what you learn to your own school context, gaining models and examples that will help you translate theory into practical skills you can use in your school.

The NPQH programme looks at:

• curriculum and assessment

• behaviour

• professional development

• governance and accountability

• implementing school improvements

In sessions both face to face and online you will investigate themes such as school culture, supporting curriculum and assessment development, working in partnership with parents and carers and governance and accountability.
