Train to Teach

Thinking about training to teach?

Teaching is a highly rewarding career. By choosing to become a teacher, you’ll be choosing to work in a dynamic environment, shaping the minds of the next generation. Each day will be different and you’ll gain a great deal of satisfaction in helping your pupils to grow and develop.

Our Lead Partner is the University of Warwick

Coventry and Central Warwickshire Teaching School Hub are a Lead Partner of the University of Warwick and we offer a Partner-Led route into teaching. We work with a range of primary, secondary and specialist settings to recruit trainee teachers. You will spend most of your time in your base school, attending training sessions at the University of Warwick with some additional days training in school.  You will also spend time teaching in a second contrasting school as part of the programme, in line with the requirements of Initial Teacher Training

Primary and Secondary Subjects

We offer a broad range of secondary school subjects and a general Primary (Key Stage 1 and 2) programme.

We have vacancies in the following subjects across our partner schools for 2026-27:

  • Primary: in schools across Coventry, Rugby, Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth.
  • Secondary: Coventry, Rugby and Leamington

Use provider code 1GH to search for our range of programmes and schools to apply for.

Qualification outcome
